My name is Amelia, I am from European descent. I would like to recognize and acknowledge the Sinixt, Ktunaxa and West Kootenay Métis Peoples and their land which Nelson and myself reside upon. As well as recognizing these First Peoples geographic places I would also like to recognize how important and relevant their cultures and way of being are.
